GBPJPY Robot Up 119%
Tweet What a great three days for our Forex Trading Robot. Not only was our goal for this robot met, but it blew by it by 19%. Here is a break down of how things started and where we are today. We started trading the robot on a demo account on February 20, 2008 with $5,000. Except for a few days, due to the rules of the robot, we took at least one trade a day during the live tradingRead more ….
Robot Up 83%
Tweet Two great days in a row put our demo trading robot up 83% since our inception no so long ago. We have attached our trading sheet since the start to show you the low amount of draw down and positive gains we’ve seen. Our account value is now at $9168 going into the weekend. We will try to go for our goal which is too double our money. If we see a successful trade on Sunday night going intoRead more ….
Robot Week
Tweet A tight range this week has really messed with out trading robot. We’ve seen several losses, followed up by a nice gain today, which leaves our $5000 trading account at $7377. Still up nice, but we had two bad trading days in a row. For a demo bot to work in our favor, we need the account to stay positive. So far we are still ahead and we’ve been running it for almost two months now. We will runRead more ….
Robot Consolidation
Tweet After reaching new highs with our demo robot, we have taken a step back in this consolidation of the Sterling Yen. We will look to get back on track tomorrow. The $5,000 account which reached highs of 66% is now only up 20%. A lot can happen in a couple of trading days.
GBPJPY Robot in Motion
Tweet It appears once we get a nice day, we get two not so great days in a row. We didn’t do that bad, but we didn’t break our record of 66% either. We took one loss and a small gain, but we are still way ahead on this demo bot that started with $5000.
GBPJPY Robot up 66%
Tweet One trade over night took our Forex trading robot to it’s high. Since it’s inception about 40 trading days ago, with a $5000 demo account, the robot is now up a whooping 66%. This has been a great ride for the breakout strategy. The account now stands at $8321 which is very good for letting a machine work for you. We will keep this thing going for as long as it takes.
GBPJPY Flat
Tweet Today was a pretty flat day for the robot. Not to much movement and it stayed in a fairly tight range. We did break up enough to keep the trailing stop in place for a small gain. Our demo robot is still kicking in the green and will hopefully break it’s latest highs. We started with $5000.
GBPJPY Robot
Tweet After 2 months in a row of failed attempts to trade the pound yen robot, it might be wise to shut it down within a 48 hour period before the NFP release and just trade the news break out strategy manually. There are too many factors involved when trading a robot before this powerful release. Our $5000 demo account is still positive, but we are now off our highs. We will keep posting this week.
GBPJPY Lesson
Tweet After last month, we should have learned our lesson, not to play a big breakout before the Non Farm Payroll report is set to come out. We got doubled dipped on the robot taking away a good chunk of the gains we made the day before. We will keep the robot active tomorrow only because it is a demo account and it should see some fireworks, if we are not stuck with two stop losses before 8:30am.
GBPJPY Robot Profits
Tweet It looks like we have made some strides again. We have officially reached a new profit record within the 40 days of trading this strategy. This demo account that started with $5000 is now worth $7988. This is equivalent to a 59% gain in 40 trading days. This thing is really acting well and we will keep testing it.
