GBPJPY Range
WOW. Crazy day for sure already. Our Robot is set not to trade if a range is to wide, giving us a protection plan from false breakouts. For the first time in 21 trading days, we have a no trade, so performance will not be tested today. We will monitor the markets the rest of the day and see if things settle down a bit. Our results will stay the same at least for one more day.

Now that we hit the 20th trading day in a row with this robot, we need to recollect our thoughts and see where we are. Day 1 – We started with a $5000 Demo account. A big downward movement occurred soon after the orders were placed. The Target profit was missed by 5 pips and came back to our trailing stop with a nice gain. Pound Yen Day 18ish
It was a weird day overall in the market, which led us to one loss. The Forex auto trading robot seems to just hang around for us. We will see what happens tomorrow and post the results. So far our demo account is still in the green, so nothing to worry about. We just have to break through. If we get two good days in a row, we will see some nice gains on this BOT.
Trading Robots and Human Error

We had another tough day this morning with Mr. Robot. The trading robot gave us one loss and brought our account in the red by -15 for the 15 trading days. So far this is a breakeven robot. Non Farm Payroll News Trade
The GBPJPY was the currency pair to trade this time around during the Non farm payroll announcement at 8:30am this morning. There was a perfect support and resistance level created within our 15 minute time frame. Although the news was really choppy on other currency pairs, the Sterling Yen was acting really well and may be the pair to trade for future announcements. Pretty dismal report for the NFP for both traders and the US economy. Very choppy news trade led us to one loss on the robot trade. We knew it would be an important event, but it looked like a broker play on this one. A lot of swing with in the first 30 minutes.
