The beast was tamed last night for sure. After nine trading days, we finally saw the power of the trading robot and keeping the emotions out of it. Even Robots miss the target profit by 5 pips. There were two trades taken today with the GBPJPY trading robot. One was stopped out, but the other followed through all the way to within 5 pips of the target and then moved back to our trailing stop. The name speaks for itself. Having a Forex auto pilot is a nice thing to have when it is working in your favor. We took one trade today using our GBPJPY trading robot and it was a loss. Since the currency pair doesn’t know where to go, either does our trading robot. We’ve taken a handful of trades at this point, but have only found some minor success. A different story was told for today’s trade. The one trade we did have didn’t hit a stop loss or a target profit in the alloted time period. We had one trade trigger today and it missed our target by only a few pips and retraced to our trailing stop, giving us a nice gain. The trailing stop is really nice, so you don’t give all your gains back. Yes, another plug for FXCM. They seem to win awards a lot these days. Maybe they have a great name out there, but winning the best forex solution award must mean something to somebody.
